How to Help

Foster – Dogs who come into New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are looking for a home.  A foster situation gives the dog time to decompress, learn to start trusting again and a place to begin their new happily ever after.  Interested in giving this opportunity to a furry companion?  Check out the Fosters Needed page and apply to be a foster.  All the needs( food, medical ) of dogs being fostered are taken care of by the Rescue until the dog is adopted to a forever home.  You can find this application on the Forms/Contact Us page.

Adopt– Bring a new companion into your home and give a second chance at an amazing life.  Check out our Adoptables pages.  Whose eyes are you going to fall in love with?  The application to adopt is on the Forms/Contact us page.

Donate– As a non-profit society, the Rescue is always fundraising to cover vet bills, etc.  All dogs who come to us that haven’t already had a spay/neuter done are vetted at the Rescue’s expense.  This can add up very quickly.  What can you do?  When you you see us set up at events come see us.  Buy a ticket, bandana, etc.  Or you can send a direct EMT to our account at treasurer.rsars@icloud.com  If you want it to go toward vet bills, specify that in the message section of the transfer and we will see it.  If requested to a specific thing or dog, we will make sure it gets directed to your request.

Every little bit counts.

Volunteer – we are always looking for people to help us with fundraising.  Interested in helping?  Email us and someone will get back to you.  Or, if you are at an event, ask for contact information from one of the volunteers.
